May Club Meeting "What's in my PFD?"
Robert Nissenbaum Presents "What's in my PFD?"
Have you thought about what gear you should have with you on the water? Where and how to carry it?
Robert will walk through his kit covering what he carries, why he carries it, and where he carries it, and even when he carries it - not all trips are the same, so his kit varies. Robert will cover that decision making process!
Robert is an adventure seeking coastal sea kayaker, an instructor, and trip leader. He has kayaked much of Puget Sound as well as having spent time in the San Juan Islands, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and out on the Pacific Coast. He is currently on a quest to cover the entire Puget Sound coastline. One of his favorite playgrounds is Deception Pass.
As an instructor, Robert’s passions are teaching traditional Greenland paddling and coaching newer paddlers, working with them at their pace rather than following a structured curriculum.
