Please join us for HITW's February Club Meeting at Padilla Bay Research Center. Doug Palm, member of The Mountaineers and NSSKA, will share an overview of the Bull Kelp survey work conducted by Sound Water Stewards volunteers at Lowell Point on Camano Island. The presentation includes photos of the team in action, collaborating agencies, a summary of the survey protocol, maps and charts showing recent results, and time for Q&A.
Doug's eduction background is in Microbiology and Information Technology. He worked for 26 years in administration at PATH, a Seattle-based global health organization. His interests include sea kayaking, photography, hiking, cross-country skiing, history, marine biology, and learning Python programming.
