ROUTE: Friday, 4/11 we leave at 11:45 AM from Cabana Park to ride the last of the ebb toward Bird Rocks and then the start of the flood back up to James Island. Upon arrival we set up tents and then have the option circumnavigate Decatur Island, hike the beach along Decatur, or enjoy James. Saturday 4/12 We depart at 8:30 AM to catch the ebb to Watmough Bay to explore hiking paths to Chadwick Hill and Point Colville and return with flood by 4:00 PM . Sunday, 4/13 We leave James at 11:30 and return around Burrows and Allen Islands to Cabana Park.
This trip will be awesome because it's a great combination of paddling and walking 20 NM.
