The Thistles are getting a hold on Skagit Island again.  Please come help us pull these invasive plants from this beautiful Washington Water Trails Association Site for which HITW are stewards.  Bring a garden knife or dandelion weeder or something similar, sturdy gloves and a stiff plastic bag to put the plants into.  We will be removing the new plants which are already getting a foot hold.  Arrive at 830 am at SneeOosh Beach and plan to launch at 9am.  The paddle will be less than an hour to reach Skagit Island.  After working we will eat (don't forget to pack your lunch) and then paddle back planning to reach the beach at around 2pm. Your help will be greatly appreciated!!
